Study Abroad Programs
The University of Georgia has over 100 exchange agreements with universities around the world for students seeking a semester-long study abroad experience. However, due to the short duration and high intensity of the MBA program, most MBA students choose to participate in the travel electives Terry offers.
These three-credit, spring semester courses entail ten hours of on-campus instruction, travel to destination, as well as business and cultural visits at the destination.
In Spring 2010, students will have the opportunity to travel to China, visiting both Beijing and Shanghai. There they will meet with executives of domestic Chinese businesses as well as multinational corporations currently conducting business in China. Excursions to the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, extreme cuisine adventures, shopping, and a tour to a typical Chinese family compound are also included in the trip.
Additional opportunities are often available during spring break or summer semesters depending upon student interest.
Student Professor Interaction
Terry's small class size creates a unique learning environment in which students have many opportunities for one-on-one interaction and personal feedback from faculty.
