Requirements

Eligibility, Prerequisites & Work Experience for Terry's Two-Year MBA Program

In order to assure that new students are prepared for the challenges of the Terry MBA, a prospective candidate to the two-year program must meet the following requirements for his/her application to be considered.

Education: Individuals must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university or college, having a total of 16 years of education. A cumulative undergraduate Grade Point Average of 3.0+ is strongly encouraged, but significant work experience will also be considered.
Coursework/Skill Sets: Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong mathematical skills and must enter the program computer proficient. In addition, Terry reserves the right to require students to take Calculus in advance of enrollment. A working knowledge of statistics is strongly encouraged.
Work Experience: An applicant should have a minimum of two years of professional, full-time business experience following graduation from their undergraduate institution.
GMAT: Students will be required to have taken the GMAT and have official score reports from GMAC sent to Terry MBA Admissions by the application due date.

Interviews: Applicants are encouraged to interview in person. When interviewing on campus, candidates will have the opportunity to visit an MBA class and have lunch with a current MBA student. Applicants who are unable to visit campus will be contacted by the MBA Admissions office after their application has been completed for a phone interview as part of the final admissions review process.
