Recruiting at Terry

Terry's MBA Career Management Center (CMC) provides students with the tools they need to be successful as they launch their post-MBA careers. Terry takes a unique one-on-one approach to an MBA student's internship search and job search: We apply the same model we use to develop leadership skills to teach the career management skills that every business professional will need for lifelong career success.

These are the skills we focus on:

  • Self-awareness (passions, strengths, weaknesses, values, priorities, cultural and environmental preferences, reward preferences)
  • Career visioning (career goals, career path)
  • Networking (Social and conversational skills, relationship skills)
  • Job Search Mechanics (resume writing, letter/email writing, interviewing, negotiating, and closing skills)

To give students access to the most current expertise and market intelligence available, we partner with the global executive search firm, Stanton Chase International. Stanton Chase consultants come to campus throughout the fall and spring semesters to work individually with MBAs on improving the career management skills essential to achieving their career goals and finding personal fulfillment.

Atlanta

Atlanta

Today Atlanta is home of the world's busiest airport and the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the nation. In the past 20 years alone, the population has doubled and Atlanta has become one of the top job producers in the nation. The proximity of Atlanta to Athens along with the Terry Executive Education Center provides Terry MBAs an advantage in participating in interviews, research and internships in the business center of the Southeast.
