Leadership Scholarships
Three Terry MBA leadership scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 are awarded annually in the spring semester to current MBA students for their leadership in the program. Students are self-nominated and must provide evidence of the following:
- Leadership contributions through formal leadership roles in the business clubs, MBA program-wide events, community service, or other extracurricular activities
- Informal leadership qualities through classroom performance, team relationships, and peer interactions
- Personal recommendations from a faculty member, a coach, and a fellow MBA student
Teamwork
Good team skills are essential in the workplace and the Terry MBA program develops those skills. At Terry, the training begins early, inside and outside the classroom. In pre-semester MBA PLUS classes, student teams learn how to ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
