Terry College of Business

Georgia's flagship business school, founded in 1912

Full-Time MBA

JD/MBA Joint Degree

The University of Georgia Law School and the Terry College of Business offer a combined Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration degree program. The JD/MBA joint degree program enables students to reduce the time it takes to acquire these degrees from five to four years.

Advanced training in law and business provides a powerful set of skills that will put you ahead of the competition. Students pursuing the JD/MBA may choose to pursue careers in fields such as mergers and acquisitions, wealth management, corporate law, and securities law.

Applying

Candidates interested in applying to the joint program must make separate applications to the UGA Law School and to the Terry MBA Program and be admitted by both programs. Typically, students will spend their first year in the law school, followed by a second year doing the core coursework of the MBA program. During the third and fourth years, students are jointly enrolled, completing degree requirements for both programs.
