Just as a corporation invests in coaching for its most talented executives, the Terry MBA Program invests in its students. Our mission is to develop a new generation of leaders for the world's private enterprise system.
Terry MBA coaches are not faculty members, second year students, or MBA alumni. They are professionals, seasoned experts who make their living in Atlanta coaching managers and C-level executives.
During your time at Terry, you will work with your own personal executive coach. You will use your Professional Leadership Development Plan (PLDP) and assessment results from the leadership courses to introduce yourself to your coach and lay the groundwork for the coaching relationship. Your coach will work with you in two different contexts:
The goal of coaching is to leverage your strengths (and add new ones) to increase your effectiveness as a leader. The coach will not have answers for you, but will offer a perspective, different from your own, and challenge you to grow. The work of growing and changing is up to you. What your coach will do is:
When I heard that I could go to Cuba for class credit, I asked myself, would I ever have the opportunity to do this again in my life? The answer was no!"
