Full-Time MBA

11-Month Accelerated

Terry's 11-Month Accelerated MBA Program is three semesters long and begins each year at the end of May. Following an intensive review of their undergraduate business coursework over the summer, 11-month students join returning second year students in the fall for two semesters of elective classes.

Curriculum

The summer semester coursework consists of the leadership courses (3 cr.) and 9 credit hours of advanced review courses in the foundations of business knowledge, as follows:

  • Developing Leadership Skills (MGMT 7010/7011)
  • Accounting (ACCT 6015)
  • Statistics (MSIT 7050)
  • Marketing (MARK 7520)
  • Finance (FINA 7020)
  • Economics (ECON 7920)
  • Strategy (MGMT 7400)

After successfully completing the summer semester, 11-month students are expected to perform at the same level as second year students.

During the fall and spring semesters, 11-month students take from 26 to 32 elective credit hours, plus Business Ethics (BUSN 7500) and Negotiations (LEGL 7050), for a total of 43 credits as required for graduation. Like their two year counterparts, they must also satisfy the community service and the global business course requirements.
