Financial Information

Tuition, Fees & Other Expenses

Program Cost The tuition for the Fast Track Professional MBA Program covers costs for tuition, technology fees, preparatory web- based tutorials, professional development programming, career coaching, parking, and access to student meeting space. Tuition for the cohort beginning in Fall 2010 has not yet been set. For your reference, the 2009 costs were $42,000 for Georgia residents and $52,000 for non-Georgia residents and were spread across six terms for the duration of the program.
Seat Deposit There is a $1000 one-time, non-refundable deposit payable within two weeks of admission into the program. This deposit will be applied towards tuition and fees for the program.
Laptop computer Will vary by individual

Overseas trip (Optional)

The Fast-Track Professional MBA offers an optional overseas trip as part of an International Business elective course in the spring semester. In recent years, students have taken trips to China and Cuba and gained exposure to international business practices and culture. Students choosing this elective course earn three hours of academic credit. Costs for the trips are not included with tuition for the three-credit hour elective. Trip destinations and pricing are subject to change and will be announced each fall.

Scholarships

There are no scholarships within the Terry College of Business currently available for Fast-Track Professional MBA students. There may be scholarships available through private foundations and/or professional organizations that you can apply for on your own. The internet is a good starting place to begin a scholarship search. One helpful link you might want to explore is a Scholarship Announcements page that is maintained by the Office of Student Financial Aid at UGA.

Loans

Students requiring need-based financial assistance should visit the UGA's Office of Student Financial Aid. Financial aid application deadlines are posted at this site. In addition to the Office of Student Financial Aid, information on assistance in the form of student loans, both public and private, is available through the Graduate Management Admission Council.

Return on Investment

The Terry MBA is one of the best bargains in education. According to Forbes magazine, Terry MBAs were able to recoup all their educational investment within 3.7 years of graduation, 19th fastest among all schools that have a total cost for tuition and foregone salary of under $95,000.
