The Terry MBACMC is committed to working with employers to develop win-win recruiting strategies. We understand the constraints on time and resources faced by employers. We believe in a flexible recruiting process that meets the needs of the recruiters and students we serve. Please contact our staff to develop a plan that is right for you. There are many ways to recruit candidates from the Terry MBA Program for your organization.
This guide provides an outline of many of the most common interview practices used successfully by past recruiters at Terry.
The most traditional and most effective method most employers to use in recruiting Terry MBA candidates is on-campus recruiting. Employers schedule on-campus interviews, via Terry MBAlink, to meet with individual students at the Terry College of Business interview suites in Brooks Hall. Most firms choose to use a pre-select schedule for conducting interview schedules on campus.
Most firms prefer to use a pre-select schedule for on campus interviews when recruiting from the Terry MBA Program. Please allow about 4 weeks from start to finish for coordinating a pre-select schedule.
Pre-Select Schedule - A pre-select schedule includes the names of candidates chosen by the employer to interview for a specific position on campus. The number of candidates you select for the interview depends upon the amount of time you plan to spend in each interview. Suggested guidelines include:
Employers are also encouraged to select 1-2 alternates for each schedule.
Job Postings allow recruiting firms to collect résumés of interested candidates from the Terry MBA Program for specific job opportunities. Employers post the job in Terry MBAlink. Candidates are then able to view opportunities for a specific amount of time (determined by the recruiter) and submit a résumé. The recruiter can view resumes in the system at any time. There is no charge for job postings.
A résumé drop allows recruiting firms to collect résumés of interested candidates from the Terry MBA Program for specific job opportunities. Employers post the job in Terry MBAlink as they would an on-campus interview (as a recruiting event). Candidates are then able to view opportunities for a specific amount of time (determined by the recruiter) and submit a résumé. The system then sends all of the collected résumés to the recruiter. There is no charge for an on-campus résumé drop.

Today Atlanta is home of the world's busiest airport and the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the nation. In the past 20 years alone, the population has doubled and Atlanta has become one of the top job producers in the nation. The proximity of Atlanta to Athens along with the Terry Executive Education Center provides Terry MBAs an advantage in participating in interviews, research and internships in the business center of the Southeast.
